Scott & McCune Company is a full service commercial real estate firm, providing personalized brokerage services since 1887. Our specialties include leasing of office, industrial and retail properties, tenant representation, investment sales and property management.

HISTORY
Founded in 1887, Scott & McCune Company began as a combined real estate and insurance company.  The firm initially offered services in real estate brokerage, management, appraisal, development, and financing, as well as fire and casualty insurance.  In the early years, Scott & McCune was involved in development projects in such budding communities as Fox Chapel, O’Hara Township and Sewickley.  In the 1940’s, the principals turned their focus to suburban retail development. Many of the Early A & P stores were developed by Scott & McCune, along with related companies Center Associates and the Tri-State Real Estate Investment Trust, one of the first of its kind.  In the late 1970’s, the company turned its focus of attention to office and industrial, as well as retail, properties.  In September of 1977, Bill Burroughs became president of Scott & McCune Company, a position he hold to this day.

Currently the company is staffed by Bill Burroughs, as president, Connie Buczkowski, Ted Karabinos, Kathleen Smith and Jim Silliman.  Scott & McCune Company is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).
